Our president, Julian Lee, was featured in Dia-1 (Day 1 – Monday’s business section) on El Comercio, Peru’s national newspaper, albeit in a fun way. In February 2007, our team in Lima-Peru hosted a TV crew from Singapore’s Channel U and got themselves (and our work in Peru) featured in the channel TV series Find Me a Singaporean (hosted by Singapore actress Belinda Lee!! 🙂 The program was aired on 12th April, 2007.
In July, Today paper offered to donate $1.25 to the Touching Lives Fund for every heart cut out from page 17 of their paper. Alert Generation ACTS Club members saw the advertisements, and proceeded to collect more than 2500 hearts in one week. Well done GenACTS! Click here
